ABOUT US
The staff of The Joshua School has worked together for over ten years, learning from children, parents, and each other. Over the years, a shared vision grew of what quality education could and should look like for children with autism and special needs. The Joshua School is that vision.

WHO IS JOSHUA?
Joshua was a beloved student in our lives for three years. We grew to know and love Joshua and his family, and gained much appreciation for the beauty and complexity of who he was. In March of 2002, Joshua died suddenly in his home. It devastated his family, our classroom, and all who knew him. Joshua's death reminds us that every day and every year counts. Because of him, our team was inspired to create The Joshua School and to provide the best education and services in Colorado to children and their families.
Our Mission
The Joshua School is committed to helping each child with Autism and Special Needs explore his or her unique mind, body, and spirit.
We provide an educational community that incorporates:
- High expectations for all children,
- A balanced curriculum that is both research-based and experiential,
- Activities that are tailored to the individual needs of each student and his or her
family.
