How To Fund Early Intervention at TJS

The Joshua School believes that appropriate education is the right of every child. We have created several program options to meet the needs of a variety of students and families. At this time, many families pay privately for our services. However, we understand the need for funding of our services and strive to utilize as many resources as a student may have access to. We have become providers for several funding agencies. Below is a list of agencies for which we have become providers.

  • Colorado Department of Human Services – The Joshua School is approved by and registered with DHS at a childcare facility.
  • Children with Autism Waiver (CWA) – The Joshua School is an approved provider for this Colorado Medicaid waiver.
  • Children's Extensive Support Waiver (CES) – The Joshua School is an approved provider through some CCB's for this Colorado Medicaid waiver.
  • Denver Preschool Program – The Joshua School is in the process of becoming an approved provider for this program.
  • Licensed Child Care Provider and CCCAP – The Joshua School is in the process of becoming an approved provider for this program. This will allow families to access funds from the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP).
  • Private Insurance – The Joshua School will prepare "insurance friendly" invoices. Families then submit the claim. We are happy to assist families, when we can, with this process.
