Ed Talks (Summer 2019)
Updated: Jul 22, 2019
Welcome back! I hope your summer is going well! I hope you are relaxed, recharged and ready to start a new school year. I’m so delighted that you are part of our amazing learning community.
In this issue, you’ll read about our students’ experience at summer camp, graduations at JECC and at Englewood, learn about our new JECC playground, and meet another member of our staff as well as a parent in our Spotlight section of this newsletter.
It’s Back-to-School time. Our extended school year began July 10th and so the 2019-2020 education cycle is underway. Every child faces challenges when heading back to school. It can be exceptionally difficult for TJS students. With our 1:1 model, we teach and engage the entire family. Be sure to communicate with your child’s teacher.
All signs point to another incredible and productive school year. Our skilled and devoted staff have been planning and are well-prepared for your child(ren). Our enthusiastic Administrative team is actively dotting ‘I’s’ and crossing ‘T’s’ to ensure that everyone feels welcome and involved.
Thank you to all who are helping prepare for the new school year. Your commitment to insuring that TJS remains a celebrated and successful school is awe-inspiring. It remains an honor and privilege to serve as your Executive Director. Together, I know we will make this school year one of growth and achievement for all of our students.
