Joshua Early Childhood Center will feature an art enrichment program this year.
Our art curriculum is a developmental-based program for children between the ages of 2.5 – 5 years old. Our Method? Process Art.
Process Art is focused on the process, not the product. There are no predetermined products. Instead, teachers provide the guidance, materials, and tools to be creative - the objective is to learn, not teach. Our kiddos learn in, through, and about art by experiencing it - "to become an artist by being one.”
Students will learn problem solving skills, come up with their own answers, discover the cause and effect of their actions, and gain confidence in their own choices. These experiences will promote their cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development with fundamental skills that will forever benefit them. With our art enrichment program, we encourage our kids to think like artists, use their imaginations, and make something new.
