Englewood - Blue Spruce Program

The Blue Spruce Transition Program serves students ages 14-21 as they begin working on skills needed once formal schooling has ended. On a typical day, our students will spend half of their time off campus attending various community locations to work on vocational and leisure skills. Some of the community locations we visit include libraries, museums, parks, and different job sites. Time spent on campus is focused on communication, group instruction, increasing skills of independent living, and practicing vocational skills needed for job sites. Our program is so amazing because each staff works to ensure each day and each interaction is as meaningful as it can be for our students’ lives.

Parent Testimonials

The transition program at TJS has been so amazing. They have helped my daughter learn life skills along side her peers with the best team ever supporting her on her journey. It has been the most positive experience with any school system we've had. Thank you!
